In our childhood, we naturally formed a strong unit identifying as “we,” surfing on the same wave with a twin-win kind of feel. However, during teenage years our twin bubble gradually dissolved into individualized paths. What was left in its place was a sense of fragmentation, causing emotional pain and distress. Without a partner in crime, each of us felt somewhat lost during large parts of our youth.

Our conventional upbringing and education unfolded (Julie studied history at Oxford University graduating with a Ph.D. and worked in investment management in London for some years; Carlotta completed her German jurist license at Humboldt Universität in Berlin and Landgericht Wiesbaden, holds an LL.M. in IP Law from Cardozo Law School, New York, and worked as a lawyer in Frankfurt).

Despite our academic achievements and busy social lifestyles, we were feeling inadequate, incomplete, and lonely most of the time.

Accordingly, in our own timings each of us embarked on a search for our true identity. A long journey began, diving into the world of personal development, reading numerous books, attending workshops and seminars, and doing psychotherapy. This ultimately led us to a Taoist healer and teacher who introduced powerful soul-healing techniques. It felt like a revelation. Like the quintessential link on our quest. We each experienced profound transformation and healing of limiting blueprints in all aspects of our lives.

Fast forward and connect the dots. After years of practice and training, our levels of happiness have transformed profoundly.

We have experienced breakthroughs and inner growth in our relationships, self-esteem, and our views on life. We are both married (our amazing husbands luckily embrace the concept of “buy one get one free” :-) and are raising seven children in total; we feel inherently grateful for everything we have been blessed with in our lives ...
